I've worn Pendleton Shirts for over forty years and they are all wonderful. The "Lodge" is my favorite. The weight of the wool is heavy enough to use an an outdoor hiking shirt but also given the incredible range of wool can be worn inside as well. I like the simple classic cut with the one pocket over the heart, if anything the cut is a bit full, but then I am thin and I like a full fit. I'm quite a hiker, skier and climber and I am suprised that I don't see more light wool shirts on the trail. I wear a Patagonia Lighweight Capeline long sleeve shirt against my skin, this is an incredible wicking shirt, and then when I need more warmth or wind break I put on my Lodge. The wicking continues into the wool, which of course breathes and spills out moisture well. You can't beat the range of comfort, the shedding of water and insulation when wet that wool gives. The Pendleton Lodge is a winner and will last for many, many years.
